Our local landlord has a very dated jukebox and it takes a rocket up his arse to get him to do anything about it. Eventually after a few years of us nagging him, he decided to stick in a Stone Roses CD. (The Complete). Needles to say, this did not go as planned. The disc must be scratched or damaged in some way, so now, if somebody plays a track from the disc (as newcomers to the pub often do) it automatically plays the first track - So Young.

Sometimes someone will strike it lucky and get the track they want, but invariably it’s So Young time after time!

Turns out that it’s put off loads of the non-Roses fans in the pub and it gets severe cat calls every time it comes on.

It’ll probably take another few years to get the disc changed to a working one!!!!
