just thought we would take an opportunity to let you all hear what the completes tour manager does in his spare time, we dont suppose many of you would know this but he is a singer songwriter who currently has a band called Cousti, who are based in central Scotland and yes, you guessed it, like the name suggests they are an accoustic band
The band have also been posting up their matertials to various MP3 sites for people to hear and the responses back have been very very good, so much so that an amazing 5 of their songs are sitting in the top 10 downloads of the top 100 including number 1, number 2, number 3, number 4, number 8 and also number 11 of an accoustic chart songs are listed by Cousti and Matt Morrow who is one of the other two members in his band, see here MIXPOSURE
Just think of it like this, all those times that you have seen the complete stone roses, well he is the guy who makes sure they get there on time and are fit to play and so on, so come on give him and his band your support or at least your ears for 10 mins to listen and even if you have constructive critisiscm, then please do let them know as there is ALWAYS room for improvement August 2006 For anyone who has’nt yet purchased a ticket for the Glasgow Carling Academy show on December 1st, we advise that you go get your ticket immediately as we only have a few hundred left from the 2500 tickets on sale. This show will be the bands third consecutive at the Carling and going on the last 2 years, its looking likely that its going to be a sell out once again. A lot of you contacted us last year once the 2005 show had sold out pleading for tickets which obviously we could not help with so same applies this year, once they are gone thats it so we strongly advise you to purchase NOW or you will not see whats expected to be a very special show this year..Cant tell you excatly what our plans are BUT we have a few surprises up our sleeves for this particular show due to the fact it is the 3rd consecutive one at The Glasgow Carling. There are 27 wrong entries so better get trying again eh there are 38 correct entries requesting Cardiff and 110 correct entries requesting London so current odds are you have a 1/148 chance of winning a pair of tickets. Competition closes at 9am on Monday 21st August and the winners will be selected totally at random by a programme installed and designed to execute the random process selection on that date. For a direct link back to the competition click here GET LOADED COMPETITION July 2006 Whilst pottering around the internet, we came across some live footage of the band which a fan took on their mobile phone, the gig itself was The Norwich Waterfront during June 2006, lasting about 6 mins, with a mix of different songs in the set, its certainly worth of a mention and link here. AND as if that wasnt enough to tempt your tastebuds, we also came across some video footage from the Waterford Forum show, sound isnt that great as it was filmed on somebody’s mobile phone but still a good show none the same and certainly by the looks of it the crowd enjoyed it too You would be surprised at what you find by typing THE COMPLETE STONE ROSES into search engines such as Google, Yahoo etc as I know we are sometimes.
