The money you have raised will help fund the work of our scientists, doctors and nurses across the UK. Millions of people have benefited from health information provide by our charity and those affected by cancer are supported by our services. Cancer Research UK currently spends nearly 315 million pounds each year in Scotland on ground breaking research. This vital research would not be possible without the support of people like you.

December 2007 We are absolutely delighted to announce that the recent show on Saturday 8th December at the Glasgow Carling Academy raised an incredible £17,000 for Cancer Research UK and we would of course like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you who attended that show as without you guys this would not have been possible so THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING THIS WORTHWILE CHARITY The band will be presenting the cheque to Cancer Research UK volunteer manager Gary Kernahan this coming Wednesday and will be requesting, on behalf of all of the fans who attended, to send them an update on what the money is being spent on, so watch this space for further details WELL DONE TO YOU ALL! |
