The Complete Stone Roses will be making a very special appearance on NOVEMBER 15TH 2008 at the 3000 capacity Edinburgh CORN EXCHANGE which has seen many a great shows in the past including PRIMAL SCREAM & IAN BROWN amongst many

Following from the success of the last few years in the capital city where the band previously sold out two consequtive nights at the Liquid Rooms durng November 2007, the demand has dictated that the show be moved to a larger venue. This will be the bands ONLY EDINBURGH SHOW THIS YEAR so we expect tickets to go fast. For all you early bird purchasers, tickets can be bought diretly from the venue for the next few weeks until the online facilities are set up.

The Complete Stone Roses had to halt filming of their new charity video after a group of bystanders started a brawl live on the set. The Scottish based tribute band are recording a cover of Joy Divisions Love Will Tear Us Apart for Cancer Research. But the four-piece had to bring filming to a stop when a group of neds invaded the set and started a real-life fight.

The band were filming the video, which features Robert Carlyle lookalike Rab Patrick, outside Glasgows Garage nightclub when the cameras caught the attention of a bunch of local lads. The group of six were asked if they would mind leaving the set but refused, starting a fight among themselves, which ended in a Glasgow Kiss.

Singer Brian McGee said we couldnt believe it, at first we thought they were just having a bit of fun, but we had to get on with filming so one of the crew asked them if they would mind leaving. But they spotted Rab and they were sure he was Robert Carlyle so there was no convincing them to go after that. One of them just wouldnt leave, even when his pals were telling him it was time to go. Then one of them head-butted his mate. It was a bit of mess and Rab couldnt get away from the bunch fast enough. Guitarist Andy Connor added the video is about a couple who arent getting on but we never expected a real-life fight

The band have the backing of ex joy division member Peter Hook, who has played with the complete stone roses, know as the completes, before. The bass player is a big fan of the band and admits finding it strange being with them on stage, saying sometimes audiences think you are the stone roses.

The group are hoping the video will top the 17,000 they raised with a special gig at Glasgows Carling Academy last year for Cancer Research.

The band, Brian, Andy and David Nelson have also introduced a new member to the group in the shape of drummer Louis Malvessi.

Just been announced today in the press that Pete Docherty and The Happy Mondays have also been confirmed for Live At Loch Lomond, looks set to be a great festival line up taking shape
