As announced last night at BOX, Glasgow, the first bands announced for LIVE AT LOCH LOMOND this year are THE SEX PISTOLS, GROOVE ARMADA, THE ATTIC LIGHTS, THE DYKEENIES, OCEAN OLOUR SCENE & THE COMPLETE STONE ROSES

With an increased capacity this year and also new stages planned, LIVE AT LOCH LOMOND looks set to be one of thee festivals of 2008, with more huge acts to be announced soon it looks set to be one helluva festival line up.

Scottish favourites The Complete Stone Roses have offered to help music fans in Aberdeen, affected by the recent closure of the Lemon Tree venue which went bankrupt last December without warning, by offering to honour tickets already purchased at their new show. a spokesman for the band said after the lemon tree went bankrupt, the band felt terrible about their fans being left out of pocket , so they have arranged a new date at Aberdeens Moshulu on Friday 11th April 2008 and have offered to exchange the tickets for the cancelled show for tickets for the new show via promotions company PCL who have helped the band to arrange this one off gig.

In relation to the ticket fiasco faced by fans who have have been told to put claims into the recievers the band members said, we dont see why any music fan should have to suffer because of mismanagement of a venue’s money, the lemon tree should have paid back everyone who purchased tickets in good faith for any show but instead they have left it down to bands like us who have not only lost income through the cancelation itself but are also having to clean up the lemon tree’s mess, we didnt even know the gig was cancelled until about 2 weeks to go

YOU CHOOSE, WE PLAY

The title of the forthcoming second night show at the Glasgow Carling Academy for top selling Scots act The Complete Stone Roses, who this year, play their 4th annual show(s) at this now legendary music venue.

The Complete Stone Roses who, last year, SOLD OUT 2 consecutive nights have announced that they are appearing at the carling academy, Glasgow this year on both Friday 12th & Saturday 13th December 2008, and as is now always the case with their shows, something special has been lined up for the legions of Stone Roses fans who flock to their shows in the thousands.

This year the completes will play special 2 hour extended shows ON BOTH NIGHTS

On the Friday 12th Dec it will be titled CLASSIC SET, RARITIES & B-SIDES where the band members themselves will choose the set of songs for the show and throw in some of their personal favourite roses rarities and Classic b-sides

On Sat 13th Decthe show will be titled YOU CHOOSE, WE PLAY
Where the fans get to pick the set by registering for the online poll where they will get to choose their favourite stone roses songs. The ultimate set list, chosen by the fans, will then be announced in the press sometime in October!
