IAN TILTON SAYS:
"John's idea to actually buy a great big sheet of glass, approx 8 x 8 feet in size, so you can imagine the weight! Four of us carried into a field and laid it on the grass and John painted it in his own famous Pollock-esque style. It was such a hot day it dried pretty quickly. I shot this one on black and white infra red film to give a psychedelic effect. With this film the sky becomes dark, and faces have an eerie quality."
