"The band asked me to come and take pictures of them recording for Tony Wilson's show 'The Otherside of Midnight'. No specific purpose in mind, but then a few weeks later John phoned and asked if they could use them for the artwork on their debut album. This one was used on the inner sleeve but was cropped down into bits. This is the complete photo seen for the first time."
