"I got this atmospheric close-up using ambient light only. No flash. Ian was kneeling with his drum front of stage, a sweat soaked Reni surrounded by spotlight. The atmosphere  was enhanced by the fug caused by a hot, sweaty packed house... a home grown local crowd. The Roses  really took off after this gig...I consider this to be a pinnacle event where the London press realised this band were gonna be massive and were important."
